Gracie and Tyler’s mid-July wedding embraced everything we love about summer at Tar Creek Ranch: long golden light, swaying meadow grasses and a relaxed celebration that moved naturally through the property.

Their color palette ranged from deep navy and soft blue to sage and cream, beautifully complementing the ranch’s midsummer landscape. Bright green Sudan grasses surrounded the Magnolia Pavilion, while tall alfalfa grasses moved gently through the Meadow, creating a soft and romantic backdrop for the day.

The ceremony was held in the Meadow, with the coastal ridge and tall grasses framing the couple as they exchanged vows. Summer brings some of the most beautiful light of the year to the ranch, and the afternoon sun gave way to a warm golden hour that illuminated the surrounding hills and Meadow.

Following the ceremony, guests made their way to the Garden for cocktails and live music from Dan Curcio of Come Alive Entertainment. Mixed Events created beautiful cocktails for guests to enjoy while artist Heather Millenaar captured the celebration through a live painting of the couple. Guests watched as the artwork came to life throughout the evening, creating a memorable and personal part of the celebration.

Dinner was served beneath the Magnolia Pavilion, where guests enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by Oak Pit Catering. The couple’s thoughtful blue, sage and cream details felt perfectly at home against the surrounding greenery and soft summer light.

By using the Meadow, Garden and Magnolia Pavilion, Gracie and Tyler created a wedding that allowed guests to experience the ranch in a different way throughout each part of the day. Their celebration was romantic, welcoming and beautifully suited to the natural colors and movement of a Central Coast summer.
